The Ethics of Progress is a mind-melting, jargon-free, whistle-stop tour of leading edge Quantum Physics in which….

Unlimited’s artistic director Jon Spooner explains how his understanding of the world and everything in it was radically altered by his conversations with Professor Vlatko Vedral who heads up the Quantum Information Group at the University of Leeds. No really, he does.

By avoiding jargon and explaining in straightforward terms the concepts of Superposition, Wave Particle Duality, Quantum Entanglement and Teleportation, The Ethics of Progress pushes theoretical physics into real life situations and imagines the world as it might be in the not-too-distant future.

Post Show Talk with Dr Jacob Dunningham from the Quantum Information Group at the University of Leeds – Friday, 19th September 2008
(No need to book separately, tickets for the main show allow admission to this event.)

"I went in with a heavy heart thinking the subject would be over my head. I came out wanting to help change the world. Brilliant."
