Southwark Playhouse 19 – 25 Young Company present a biting black comedy exploring the mad savagery of war.
Tom Basden is an award winning actor and writer, having performed and written extensively for comedy shows on the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, including Quacks, Plebs, The Wrong Mans, Fresh Meat, Gap Year and Peep Show, and David Brent: Life on the Road. His plays include Joseph K (The Gate) and Party (Edinburgh Festival). There Is A War was originally performed at the National Theatre in 2011.
