“A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other.”
A Tale of Two Cities
Economic Crisis, a divided Europe, wide spread civil unrest on a global scale – in the 200 years since Dickens’ birth, not much has changed.
Drawing upon Dickens’ vast array of characters YoCo, Southwark Playhouse’s Young Company, presents a collection of pieces, stories and performances inspired by the theme’s and issues which preoccupied his life and work, each with a distinct YoCo twist.
Following the show’s run in the Vaults, YoCo will be taking to the street to deliver extracts form the show as part of an augmented city walk each Saturday in April. For details visit coutours.co.uk
