“And I say – seriously I think I’m in love with this milkshake.
And her eyes go a bit funny and her mouth moves like a lion’s tail.
And she is like – you are such a fucking idiot. Can you not talk like a real human being?”Men and Women. Girls and Boys. Ladies and Gentlemen. Male and Female. Sister and Brother. Sir and Madam. Girlfriend and Boyfriend. Him and Her.
Southwark Playhouse Young Company look at the reality of being men and women in 2016. Written and devised by the group themselves, and exploring everything from dating to Everyday Sexism, Milkshake is a wry, tender and serious look at who we are.
Milkshake is presented by the 19–25 Young Company group and is presented in tandem with Teller by the 14–18 group. Click here to read more about Southwark Playhouse Young Company.
